Official Rules

The purpose of this contest is to develop the next Happy Masks design. The following are the official contest rules:

All submitted work must be the original work of the entrant and must not include, be based on, or derived from any pre-existing or third-party designs, trademarks, or copyrighted images.
All entries will become the property of Happy Masks. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees that any and all intellectual property rights in the design are deemed assigned to Happy Masks.
Except where prohibited by law, an entry submission into this contest constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, likeness, prize information, and information provided on the entry form for publicity purposes, without further permission or compensation. If the winner would like his or her name modified for privacy purposes, Happy Masks is able to allow for this modification.
Happy Masks reserves the right to modify the winning mask design as necessary to achieve the goals of this initiative.
Happy Masks reserves the right to not select a winner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received.
Happy Masks reserves the right to assess the charity organization chosen by the winner and ask the winner to choose an alternate organization at their discretion.
The selected winner must submit a scanned version of the winning design so that it is adaptable to electronic and print media, and able to reproduce as needed.

How to Enter

The contest begins on February 28, 2023. Submissions will be accepted through 11:59pm PST on Sunday, March 12th 2023. In order to submit an entry, please follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Download the design template here.

Step 2: Email design entry to contest@happymasks.com.

Step 3: Follow Happy Masks on FB or Instagram. Post the design, and tag @gethappymasks.

Selection Process

Happy Masks will select the top 5 designs to be voted on by the broader Happy Masks community from 3/21-3/23. Winners will be announced via Instagram, Facebook, and email on 3/28/23. The entry with the most votes will be produced and sold at www.happymasks.com in August 2023.

Prize

The winning designer will receive a $100 Happy Masks gift card, and a donation of $1000 will be made to the charity of the winner’s choice.
